Getting Started

1. Create an Account

Sign up for TaskVoice using your email address. You'll be able to create organizations and invite team members right away.

2. Create an Organization

Organizations are the top-level containers for your teams. Create one for your company, department, or project. You can be a member of multiple organizations.

3. Connect Integrations

Navigate to your organization's integrations page and connect your GitHub, Linear, Cursor, and other services. All API keys are encrypted and stored securely.

Organizations

Creating Organizations

Organizations allow you to group related workspaces, projects, and team members. Each organization has its own settings, integrations, and access controls.

Roles and Permissions

TaskVoice supports three organization roles:

  • Owner: Full control over the organization
  • Admin: Can manage members and settings
  • Member: Can view and work with organization resources

Workspaces

Workspaces are where you organize your projects, tasks, and pull requests. Each workspace can have its own Linear integration, repositories, and AI agent configurations.

Creating Workspaces

Workspaces are created within organizations. You can create multiple workspaces to separate different projects or teams.

Workspace Settings

Configure repositories, integrations, and preferences for each workspace. Settings are workspace-specific and don't affect other workspaces.

Integrations

GitHub

Connect your GitHub account to sync repositories and pull requests. TaskVoice will monitor open PRs and display them in your dashboard.

Linear

Link your Linear workspace to track tasks and issues. Sync important tasks and keep your team aligned on priorities.

Cursor Cloud Agents

Connect your Cursor API key to launch and monitor AI agents. Agents can automate tasks, review code, and assist with development workflows.

AI Models

TaskVoice supports multiple AI providers including OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and OpenRouter. Configure API keys for each provider you want to use.

AI Agents

Launching Agents

From a project or workspace, you can launch AI agents to automate tasks. Select your Cursor integration, choose a model, and provide instructions for the agent.

Monitoring Agents

View all active and completed agents in the Agents view. Check status, view conversations, and track progress in real-time.

Agent Capabilities

Agents can review code, fix issues, generate documentation, and perform other development tasks based on your instructions.

Security

Encryption

All API keys and secrets are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM encryption. Data in transit is protected with TLS/SSL.

Access Control

Use role-based access control to manage who can access what. Organization owners and admins can invite members and assign roles.

Best Practices

  • Use strong, unique passwords
  • Enable two-factor authentication when available
  • Regularly review organization members and permissions
  • Rotate API keys periodically
